that tastes like olives from The Santa Barbara Olive Co.?

These olives are so good. I tried a black olive from a company that sun dries their olives but they were sooooooooooooo salty, it ruined any possible flavor and they were very rubbery, even after soaking them for half a day.

I would just love to find a delicious, raw black olive. Anyone have a good recommendation?

The Sun Dried Black Olive are the Real RAW Black Olives. They are usually bagged and are SALTY as you stated. So If I see a Black Olive, not the SALTY ones,,,,,,,I eat it.

I think Alissa used to sell them or at least a RAW Olive. A Guy by the Name of
"Pierre" used to rave about recieving RAW Olives from somewhere. When I see an Olive Bar at Grocery Stores........I taste them ALL and I still don't know which one is RAW.......But Its FUN.

yeah - don't know about those olive bars - are they just opening a big 25 lb can in the back? LOL!

WOW - forget the raw food police - We need The Raw Food Detectives to go behind the scenes and let us know what is what!

The jars of Greek olives and the Stuffed green olives are both great. The green ones are my favorite.

Thank you Spicyfull, for the info and the link. I'll have to see if I can find a deli near me, that carries them. Also, I put in a request at Whole Foods to start carrying them. It would be great if they would add a raw olive bar!

Thank you for the link Bowie. I appreciate it.

Luckily, I'm able to buy a really good, raw green olive from the health food store. It would be great if that same co. sold a raw black olive.

Thank you all, for your input. :)

Are the black olives that come in glass jars in any way heat treated? Im planning on making a greek salad (without feta) and it never crossed my mind before if they had been processed in any way. thanks

guys, sorry to post this again but I am going shopping tomorrow and just want to know whether to add this to my list or not. I normally buy don carlos black olives in brime (if thats the word)- it comes in a glass jar. I'm almost 1 week 100% raw and wanna make sure I dont mess up. Thanks:)
