View Full Version : Brewers yeast products and candida?

Hi all,
I've been navigating the site for ways to regain health/energy. Know green drinks are a biggie. I wondered if "nutritional yeast" in products such as Dr Schulze Superfoods Plus will aggravate candida. Anyone know about this or some of the other good green powders?
Also, I'm having a tough time with adrenals/endocrine system and really need some answers to jumpstart health.:confused: A new doc put me on some neurotransmitters to "balance the endocrine system," but I'm on my cycle and 9still)have cried for two days. Plus the stuff is so expensive ($124. month)
I want to eat healthy and do things that will help me in the long run. (been working on tough health issues for 14 yrs now! It's time to live and feel good again!) I'm also helping family regain health.
Anyone out there with results in these areas?

This message board is filled with a lot of information about well....everything. I, as well, am starting to recover from candida, parasites and a health issue that rears it's ugly head depending on what I eat.

I do not use any yeast products. I use candibactin and glutogenics as well as similase for the stomach issues. It has helped me to recover my sanity! Yet, I also stay away from any corn, wheat, soy and dairy products.

EATING yeast will not feed your yeast/candida problems. They only eat sugar.

You only get yeast problems when your body cannot process sugar fast enough when it is bogged down digesting things like fat. Your body is naturally supposed to have candida to save your life so that sugar doesn't sit around in your blood and hurt/kill you. If you are eating fruits by themselves or with greens they will be assimilated within 30 minutes, hit your blood stream immediately after and be carried to the cells that need it with no problem. When you are eating high fat, or fat with fruit then your body cannot respond quickly enough and candida flares up to eat all the excess sugar. Then you have yeast problems and your cells have been poorly fed and it can send you into sugar cravings because the candida ate the sugar instead of your cells.

You can totally beat candida sticking to a simple raw diet and eating fat only once a day after all other fruits and starchy foods, or even no fat for a week or two and the candida issues will subside.
