View Full Version : Goji Berries vs. Powder
For those who have used both, are there extra health benefits to the berries (I'm assuming not because the "live-food factor" isn't really there, I'd guess) over the powder. How about cost in your experience? Thanks.

Not really, you're better off eating whole fruit. It's cheaper anyway. Don't buy into the "superfoods" fad too much. They are good once in a while but they aren't vital. Just eating lots and lots of fruit and making at least 10% of your diet composed of dark greens will be all you need.

I would go with the whole berries, but both are over-priced in my opinion. I'd just rather eat fresh (and cheaper) fruit.

Also, with the money spent on something like goji berries, you might as well buy a green superfood powder like Vitamineral Green and get even more benefit, if you're that interested in superfoods.

The powder is way more expensive, though more versatile in recipes. I've used it in a great chia seed recipe. The taste between the two is also different. Mostly it depends on how you plan on using it.
