OK - this is my new "thing"...

RED kale, pineapple, raspberries, and banana.

I've only ever seen purple kale. Is it actually red in colour? That sounds like a great smoothie.

I want to make something like this but with a nice deep, blood-red color. I would love to make a nice gory looking smoothie to freak out my non-raw friends some more. Muahahaha.

The tag said red kale - and it is red stems with mottled green and red leaves - without the berries it would be a pale green smoothie.

Have fun with that! Maybe add the beet in with the greens........and dark red cherries?

That might work. It would be cool to have a dark red smoothie. It would be a nice change in variety.

I just have black smoothies lol purple kale, bananas and blueberries... looks pretty unattractive. :)

I noticed that the ribs looked very purple in the sunlight today - I checked the tag from the farm - jsut said Kale.

It was the sign in the store said red kale - what do they know?

googled it up - looks to my like it is Russian Red Kale.
