Attached are pictures of my fourth of July dinner. It was a hit with all, especially the corn salad. I used the recipe from Rawsome, and it was raw corn, cilantro, a tomato and a little olive oil. I also added a bit of dried bell pepper seasoning. It was so delish. The pasta salad was a makeover from my favorite pasta salad and it was really really really good. I will post the recipe later. Kabobs were from the Raw Freedom website. I was disappointed with them, as they weren't very flavorful, but still got all eaten up. My beautiful daughter, who just went raw yesterday, decorated the flag cake, which was blueberry cream layer cake, made also from the Raw Freedom site. I would say it was half a hit. The general concensus was that the top layer was not sweet enough, but it was still good and everyone liked it. Beverages were raw lemonade made with stevia and lots of water. I had a lot of fun getting creative and sharing a special day with my family.

Your daughter is beautiful, and tell her good luck on her 1st week raw.
If she needs any support send her here ;)
Your food looks yummy!!
I haven't had corn in awhile due to my digestion problems, but I bought some organic sweet corn yesterday and may try a little bit this week.

I adapted the corn salad from Rawsome! I can never leave a recipe alone though and changed some thing.
Raw corn cut off the cob, as much as you want
Fresh cilantro, to taste, chopped
Tomatoes, chopped
Red and Green bell peppers, I used a little bit of dried but fresh would be good.
Olive oil to taste, I only used a couple of tablespoons.
Be advised that after a couple of days it starts to ferment right in the bowl and tastes funky. So eat it all right away.
