Hi Guys!

I've been lurking here n there for about a month, looking into raw diets. I chose the fifth to officially go Vegan/Raw.

I figured after the 4th of course :P.

So On the fourth, I experimented with some things, firstly can I say, my goodness Raw eaters go through some prep work!

I made stuffed mushrooms, and stuffed tomatoes that i found on this board.

I also went shopping, bought a few things that seemed to be staples, and some fun things, and a ton of fruit.

So tonight, dying to make something new... I made the most disgusting chocolate pudding. Boy it was gross lol. Even my husband who always lies and says my cooking is wonderful said .. man that was gross. . .maybe without the avocado? ..

hehe :)

So here's to a better tomorrow, my official raw day :D. I'm so excited, though it does seem I'll be a fruitarian for the better part of the next little while :).

I'm trying again starting today too. Stuck with it for a few days recently but then basically collapsed. Just need to make this a habit. Here's to starting over!

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about your chocolate pudding mishap. You'll get the hang of this raw food thing. In the meantime, try out green smoothies!

A lot of prep work, eh? You must be making loads of those gourmet recipes...lol. It's possible to do raw without all the hassle, and I hardly ever personally bother with anything that takes a big chunk of my time to make. There are a few recipes I'll make, such as granola, flax crackers, the occasional pate, and maybe a more elaborate dish to take to a potluck, but I do mainly salads and smoothies these days.
