My 6 year old and I are wanting to make a fresh blueberry pie today for
the 4th. I have done some searches and have found some recipes, but we were wondering if any of you have a favorite recipe for a blueberry pie, you know one that has been made and really loved by all :D

Thanks
Cathy

I haven't actually made a blueberry pie but I do make a mean Blueberry Crumble (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/blog.php?b=14746) that everyone loves. You could probably make the crumble into a crust and add some melted coconut oil to the blueberry part so that it gels up a little more and have yourself a decent pie though.

Hold on, I'm searching for the recipe...

I think so. They sweeten and bind the nuts into a crust.

They DO mean Dried Dates. I think they dry on the Trees and have to be bagged on the Trees so they won't fall since its such a delicate Fruit.

Dried dates, yes, but candied dates or sugar-encrusted dates, no.
