Morning all.

B: fruit salad with walnuts, herbal teas with stevia
L: leftover corn chowder, kale salad
S: apple and grapes
D: big salad with tahini/miso dressing
S: avocado lemon-lime pudding with strawberries

Went to a carnival/fireworks last night. At one point my friends went off to get chili cheese fries, pizza and cotton candy. I stayed behind to guard the lawn chairs, got out my iPod Touch, and read the first few chapters of The Live Food Factor on my Kindle ap. When they got back I couldn't believe how nasty the food looked. :)

posting for days 4, 5 and 6 as I wasn't on the computer this weekend.

Saturday - the 4th of July was day 4. This was day 2 of my 4 day juice feast. In the morning I had a juice of watermelon, lemon and ginger. My first time trying that and I really liked it! In the afternoon I had cucumber, celery, carrot, apple, lemon & ginger.

Sunday was day 5 and day 3 of juicing. In the morning I had the same watermelon combo. In the afternoon I had a veggie juice of bok choy, asparagus, green pepper, celery, & lemon. It was actually better than I thought it was going to be. In the evening I had grape, apple, raspberry, strawberry & lemon. This was SO delicious! Even my husband had some and liked it :)

Today is day 6 of the challenge, and my final day of juicing. This morning I'm having pineapple, apple, celery & lemon. This afternoon I'm having carrot, sweet potato, beet, kale, apple, lemon & ginger.

Tomorrow starts my 4 days of smoothies.

Goood morning!

Haven't really gotten up yet. It's the perfect time to make plans. I think I'd like a simple day. I'm still feeling queasy at the thought of anything oily or fatty -- so no coconut oil, nuts, or avos for this poor stomach.

Looks like a lot of lettuce, tomatoes, kale, celery (since that's what's in the fridge), and i guess i'll go out and buy some fruits. maybe watermelon! ooo!

balance of day was another peach and some nuts and seeds. I am very tired. I am not sure why as I got plenty of sleep. Maybe too much fruit ? crashing...my bike ride was not that tough, or so I thought. Maybe too bed early. I rarely get to bed before 11:30 pm, yawn.

Kombucha for late dinner.

Hi!
Another great, energy filled day. I was only able to walk seven miles (not enough hours in the day) but just finished up the evening with an awesome salad with fresh snap peas and green beans from my neighbor's garden. Awesome. I threw some fresh strawberries into my salad and it actually was a nice addition.

Good luck to everyone. Stick with it, you will be so happy you did.

Good evening,

My energy is back again! I notice this first every time I go completely raw... I woke up on my own a little after 4 am and was ready to go for the day. I had a great cardio session before work, and then at lunch decided to go for a walk to enjoy some sun. Here's my food today:

- Green juice (cucumber, romaine and beet greens)
- Smoothie - banana, berries, coconut butter, vitamineral greens
- watermelon soup
- large salad with avocado
- two pieces of Pineapple Icebox Dessert (I still have a lot left)
- coconut milk

Seems like a heavier fat day but I am really feeling satisfied. My mind is clearer and my mood has improved since last week.

Have a great night!

I'm sick today and feeling pretty sorry for myself.

B - smoothie with berries, flax, banana and spinach; an apple
L - ginger tea
S - salad with radishes, broccoli, spring mix, mushrooms, pine nuts, raw ranch dressing; two bananas
D - hubby cooked, and I ate it. Moving right along...

Exercise - didn't happen. I was feeling so crummy that taking the girls out on their trikes was activity enough for me.

A very busy dehydrator day today. We are going on a five day camping trip this weekend but I work the next three days (10 hour shifts that usually leave me wiped) so I filled all the trays with mediterannean bread, banana leather, cheese balls, and flax crackers. I also finished watching Alissa's DVD from interlibrary loan and really enjoyed it.

B: Green Smoothie with bananas, kale, coconut oil, and flax seed.
L: Raw Apple and Cinnamon bar from the HFS. Then I noshed on the stuff I put in the dehydrator.
S: Marinated mushrooms, salad made with organic lettuce that was half off at the HFS, yay!
I may or may not have the last piece of blueberry cream cake for a snack.

Started the day with Berry Greens, wheat grass and alfalfa juice powder, hemp and chia powder and raw honey

B-raw granola w/ almond milk and a banana

L-green salad

D-4 Falafels (made in the dehydrator for 32 hours) with mango chutney, cucumber and heirloom tomato salad made with ACV, olive oil, garlic and fresh basil

S-a bunch of really good grapes

I think I'm over my intolerance to hemp. I've only been doing 1 tablespoon in the morning in my green drink and it's OK.:D

boogiemonster-- sorry you're sick! feel better!

Today was:
2 figs
2 nectarines
2 bananas
green juice (kale, green apple, celery, cucumber)
1 black splendor plum
green smoothie (lettuce and spinach, a banana, handfull of hazelnuts)

I think this is about the simplest day of eating in my entire life, and it was wholly satisfying. I didn't crave cooked food once. What a difference from all the rest of my life! The only thing I didn't like was that I felt like I had a sugar high and then i crashed pretty hard.
