Wednesday 7/1
30 min. Primal Nature Play with short rope, kettlebell & medicine ball
2 mile walk
30 min. rebounder
LOTS of walking all day long (forgot to wear my pedometer though)
Thursday 7/2
3 mile walk

Goal is 60 (or more) cardio each day, weights 3 days to get full body trained.
July 1, back and 45 min jog.
July 2, 60 min bike, rolling and two hills.
July 3, 120 min bike, same, hills. :D wow !

Friday 7/3
I went shopping on Main St. today which is always a LOT of walking. Afterward though I decided to walk to a friend's house which is up a HUGE STEEP hill about 2 miles away. Instead of stopping at her house though I got so into walking I just kept right on going. I walked a good, hard 5 miles before DH finally came and picked me up. :D I forgot to take my pedometer though so I don't have a step-count.

eeep! I didn't realize this thread existed!
Ok, I really really need to commit to a fitness thing. I did Master Cleanser in the beginning of June, and I haven't gotten back into the swing of things (other than biking to get around)
I start tomorrow - goal: gym trip & cardio everyday.

My goals this month is to continue to strength train at the gym 3x a week. Schedule some swimming 2x a week and hike on day on the weekend.
And do yoga in order to stretch my body after waking up in the morning.

My stomach hates me. I ate peanut butter... not raw and I avoid peanuts anyway. My stomach is in strong protest, and so I was unable to go to the gym. I did walk about 4 miles though.

today I only did 20 min cicuits on my step, my twin called during work out time and we talked for along while :p worth it ! I will make time up tomorrow.

I'd like to join in and share my goals!
Goal:
- walk 60 minutes every day (I already walk 45 mins every day, so this isn't much of an increase) - oh, and might I suggest that having a dog is the best incentive for getting out of the house and going for a walk!
- rebound 15 minutes every day
- go to classes at least 3 times a week. My gym has a bunch of classes. I particularly like bellydancing, yoga and a muscle building class.

wow I missed a week of posting ! I have been biking:
Mon July 6 - Friday 10 I biked 6 hours total, one day was 25 mile ride. lots of hills. Sat we hauled 50 bags of mulch to our landscaping on our wall in front of the house (we live a a steep hill. )
Yesterday was 1:45 ride, was hard as it was windy along the lake.

Saturday - 7/18/09 - Today my mother & sister helped me dig up some new flower beds along the sides of my house - we were out there a good 6hrs - digging, ripping up grass/weeds & planting - not to mention the 13 bags of dirt I went and bought/loaded/unloaded today that weighed 40#s each - whew! my arms are feeling it already.....:rolleyes: .....but it looks very nice outside - :D

I've been alternating gym days with runs.
Gym:
35-45 minute intense weight workouts (supersets) of three muscle groups with 30 sec or less rest between sets until I get winded and need to rest more.
Runs: 1.5mile runs with alternating jog/sprint/walk/jog/walk/sprint/walk/sprint etc.
100 pushups each day 5 days a week
50 situps each day 5 days a week
So far I've kept this up for most of the month but have friends from France staying for 3 weeks so its hard to find time and find alone time to do some things.

45 minute super-set workout with weights. Was very strong yesterday. Ran 2 miles with two uphill sprints. Today picked up the pace on the 2mile run with one uphill sprint. Legs tired and sore but will be travelling for work tomorrow so had to do it. Did 60 pushups in one set non-stop for the first time in my life today (even after the intense weights yesterday). I was amazed.
GOing to rest in the car tomorrow and back at it thurs.
Eating all raw in the AM (fruit and veggies). Raw snack. Salad and soup for lunch. Raw fruit/veg snack. Fish dinner with pasta. Fruit snack before bed.
Feeling good, lots of energy. Vitamix 5200 arrived today!

I'm feeling so much stronger lately. When I'm using the exercycle I'm finding that I can go longer and faster on the highest resistance without having to lower it midway. I'm really enjoying the rowing part of my weight training right now.

I am behind...I did 7 hours of riding last week, 2 days were 25 miles, hilly. whew...had to take a few days off and walk and jog, sore !
Gained 2 pds since I started biking hills, must be these calves and quads :rolleyes:

surfsup - No problem - I'll be posting everyday I do the workouts - the only thing I may differ from the program is not doing it on the same days that I teach yoga - Tues/Thurs, but continuing the workouts in the normal order with the exception of those days.

Thursday - 7/30/09 - Day 1 of P90X - Lean version - Core Synergistics
The workout is 1hr long & while I couldn't do all the reps - I did the best I could - I was drenched in sweat when I was finished & it felt really good!
Thursday night I also taught my 1hr yoga class - I kicked it up a notch for them too - all sweaty again, which usually doesn't happen too often - felt good!
Today - I could feel my muscles aching while I was sleeping - I defenitely got a good workout yesterday! :eek:
I will be doing Day 2 shortly this morning ......;)

Friday - 7/31/09 - Did Day 2 - P90X - Cardio X - 43min workout - it was good & I was completely drenched in sweat again - nice! :cool:
