Where do you purchase your organic produce? Also I keep reading about young Thai coconuts. Where can I buy these? Does anyone sell them in their raw state? Meaning not dipped in any type of chemicals?
Thanks!

Hey K!
Stanley's at Elston and north aves has an extensive organic section, including loads of greens - kale, chard, collards, parsley, cilantro.
Julie's organics and more on whipple 1 block or so south of Montrose ave- just a corner neighborhood store - gets a shipment of organic fruits and veggies every friday - including bananas and avocados, and sometimes mangoes.
Even the local place "the family fruit market" on cicero near belle plaine, has just recently added in a few organic items - some greens and some fruits.
Organic is really coming into it's own - Thank God!!!!
Jewel food stores have a selection of organics - but they are too pricey for me to get much there - same with dominics
Stanley's is worth the occasional 6 mile drive to stock up.

Thank you T-Bird! I just past near Stanleys yesterday and thought to go in but didn't since I still have a lot of produce at home. I haven't been there in a while.
I've been buying most of my produce from Farmers Markets and WFs. The Farmers Market prices are actually more then WFs for many items but it's fresher and it supports the local farmers so I've been buying from them the past few weeks.

I don't want to go into that while I'm at work....
doesn't sound like organic produce to me.
