View Full Version : Tips for breaking juice fast sensibly?

All right. I know, what to do - first drink a smoothie or eat a piece of fruit every couple of hours, then add some veggies, etc. So my question is how to do it sensibly - I just can't stop, and then I have a stromach ache:confused:o, and I am afraid to go on longer than 2 weeks fasts, because then it would be even worse.
One trick, that I might try is to break a fast right before bed, so then I just go to sleep after eating a piece of fruit or smoothie.:D

break your fast in the morning... hence the term break-fast.
have some soaked prunes... and they will fill you up.
then have a green smoothie watered down for lunch
and another for dinner or some nice fresh fruit.
continue with fresh fruit and smoothies, watering them down less and less over the next two days.
leave the veggies and salads for 2 days. ;)

Thank you, Aleesha, but I know all that. My question was how to stop myself from eating more?
Of course, first I have to change my belief, which I picked up from Fasting books, that it is hard to control yourself after the fast. And fast short fasts untill I see, that my belief is changed, and I can do it easily.
