A group of us will be camping in the desert for 6 days. To my suprise, everyone (5 of us) wants to eat healthy and raw while there! They've tracked my progress over the last month of being a raw woman, and they're really inspired. I'm excited, but I also want to be prepared when we hit the desert-where temperatures can soar to 105, and drop as low as 40 degrees at night...

We're not exactly roughing it (we're in a 31 foot mobile home), but I want to thoughtfully prepare a menu for everyone. I'm fairly well-experienced in recipe prep. We'll be hiking, hanging, campfiring, bikeriding - 100 miles outside of Reno. If you want to get specific, we're going to Burning Man - an annual outdoor art/music festival. I can't wait...

Any suggestions?

Yikes! Will you be in charge of stocking the kitchen? How experienced are you in recipe prep? How many people will you be uncooking for? There's a host of factors to consider in advising you. Will you be hiking? What area exactly are you going to (I've done a little camping in Nevada/Idaho - my sister is a hike reporter there)? Can you give us more info?
