While I have been familiar with the site for awhile now I never formally introduced myself--so now's a good time as any. :)

I did the 30 day challenge--mostly successfully. My challenge was not having enough already prepared raw food available for cravings/snack attacks. After giving myself a couple of years to try out new food I feel more confident about trying again (more successfully) this August.

This brings me to my question: are there any specific good brands out there for raw crackers or desserts that have the best quality? I saw something called Lidia's Organics at my local health food store and wanted to check with this site before making a purchase.

I already eat Lara Bars, own Alissa's book, and eat 50% raw vegan. I need to know what to buy to prepare for my snack attacks at work or in the car. :(

Fresh Fruit is Always Good to keep Handy. Trail Mix, Dried Fruit is Great to Keep in the Car, you don't have to worry about Spoilage. I wish you everything you need to Stay RAW..........Welcome to MY World.

Why don't you make your own Crackers and Bars? You do have Alissa's Book plus there are plenty of Recipes on this Forum and they are SO EASY. Those Lara Bars are not RAW, I think they have too much other things in them that can make you Fall off the Wagon. I don't touch them ANYMORE.........

I just made my first crackers on my dehydrator last night and this morning. They are great. Cost pennies, raw and very easy, I can't wait to try more. Do you have a dehydrator? Would you like the recipe? I am sure there are a lot of raw cracker recipes out there.

Before the crackers I made a raw trail mix using only the fruits I like and I because I made it myself I know it is all raw and organic. Start with whatever fruits you do like and then gradually add in 1 new flavor at a time. Eventually you might find yourself liking a lot more fruit.

Good luck finding just the right snack for you.
