Who has been healed from migraines by eating raw, and how long did it take? Please say 3 weeks. :p

I definitely noticed my migraines went away within 3 weeks. It is one of many bonuses to being raw. It also makes it easier to stick with the raw diet, knowing if I don't, I will be dealing with those awful headaches again. No Thank you! :)

Hey, Appifanie, I was wondering about your user name. Does it have to do with apples, or is it like "epiphany" a sudden enlightenment, like about raw food?
I was the OP about 4 months ago, and while my migraines haven't disappeared, they have improved vastly. Mine are hormonal, and my first cycle on raw was migraine-free, but since then I get one about once a month, though much milder than before. Before, I used one 9-pack of Imitrex a month. My last 9-pack, which I bought the day I went raw, lasted me four months. This month so far I am migraine free. If I can make it two more days I can say I have had my second migraine free cycle.
Raw has definitely made HUGE difference in my migraines!

it's kinda the phonetic spelling of epiphany, but just in general, not necessarily re: raw food.

YAAAAY!!! i love this community, i can just see my miseries melting away in the next 2 months or so.
i have been having migraines for about 9 years now and a lot of the times it every single day or its last several days. and so intense, my eyes hurt, my ears hurt sometimes and last year i had it so bad one day i passed out! i thought i had a brain tumor because nobody seemed to ever have it so bad. and i have a high pain tolerance! seriously..
i wonder if this will stop it completely because a lot of my migraine has to do with my sinuses. if i smell smoke.. INSTANTLY.. seriously, Instantly my head begins to throb. :(

I dont know how long...maybe right away. If I ever had one, I took the herb feverfew and they were gone. It can be taken at onset of migraine or as a preventative measure or both. It works, no need to suffer.

I stopped getting headaches when I eliminated salt from my diet.

oh - yeah - feverfew!
My son started getting very strange migraines when he entered adolescence. They became progressively worse eventually with symptoms like couldn't feel his hands. I was terrified and took him in to the er but seems it's a known component of migraine symptoms. We got some heafty Rx, that didn't really work.
Read about feverfew, and started giving him one capsule, oh - maybe 3-4 times per week.
That really worked! They just up and disappeared!!!
Every time we "forgot" for a couple weeks, they snaked in again.
But after about 6 or so years on the feverfew, we just kept forgetting alot. Now he hasn't had any in a few years, without much feverfew.
I call it "cured"

Ihad migraines ALL my life 50+ years. When I went Raw I never have suffered another one. Eliminate salt. Up your water intake. Increase your greens....they will go. Are you 100% Raw?
