I went to 118 degrees last night and it was ok for raw food but no where near as good as the food at Grezzo. So much zuchinni used at this place. I can't wait until Alissa comes to the West Coast!! We need Grezzo here!!

The other day I ended up at Boston's Logan airport for a whole day waiting to get to Germany on standby. I was so sad to be in the same city as Grezzo's and had no way to get there and try it! Real soon Southwest Airlines starts flying into Logan and I can "pop in" whenever I want :D.

going to be in Boston in 2 weeks. Hope to get to the restaurant. No one in my family is raw, so this will be interesting. May have to go on my own with dd.

I've never been there but recommended a non-raw friend to go, and she enjoyed it.

you know.. when restaurants or restaurant owners make cook books, i think they intentionally leave ingredients out... :/ cause if we could make what they make, we wouldn't go to their restaurants!.. lol i mean i'm not saying Alissa has or hasn't done that, but you should be able to duplicate the same taste of stuff from the book as in the restaurant. maybe next time you go to the restaurant, you could ask what they do differently, if anything and share with the rest of us!.. it could be that some of the stuff was made in advance, so it had more time to let flavors mingle, or any number of things... you know what i am saying?

Iwuvmydoggy - Please know that Alissa had her book long before she had her restaurant so there were no ingredients in any recipe left out intentionally. Her recipes in the book are not from the restaurant. If you do get a chance to visit Grezzo you will see that. Additionally, everything at the restaurant is made to order, except for the dehydrated products. She will be publishing another book with her restaurant recipes and, I promise, there will be no ingredients left out intentionally. She would like to see everyone succeed on their raw journey!
