REAL FOOD! I am eating my third :o helping of zucchini noodles with marinara sauce. SOOOOOO delicious and satisfying and very quick to make as well. Food like this will definitely help me stay on the diet. I am not feeling so well today. I was in a hurry and grabbed some figs for breakfast and they are not liking me apparently. Feel very fibromylagia-ish, with weak and achy muscles and fatigue. And I have so much to do today, of course. Oh well. I will get through it.
I have some wild rice soaking in the dehydrator for a mushroom and wild rice dish for supper. I also plan to make some blueberry ice cream in my new (thrift store) ice cream maker while the rest of the family has regular ice cream for my 14yo son's birthday today. We are having his real birthday dinner saturday when my other three children will be home from various out-of-town pursuits. If I am up to it I will make an eggplant or zucchini lasagna to have while others have regular lasagna. I also have some wraps batter to put in the dehydrator, as soon as I summon the energy.:D

Other Amazing Food:
Island Fire with MMS

A couple handfuls of Organic Corn Chips (blah)
Bryan got picked to be on a Jury. Today was his first day . . . and he swore not to tell me (or anybody) anything about the trial. Luckily my man is honest because I have been subtly probing him all night . . . not a word from him:) Any other man would surely fall prey to my charms;) I am glad because honesty is important to me and I don’t really desire to know anyway.

Katchmoleen that is pure determination right there, to think ahead to make raw versions to eat while everyone else eats the "normal" version. You go girl!
Rose Goddess, is parsley really that good in a gs? I have been too scared to try (although parsley is my favorite spice to add to foods)
Today I had that craving for chips again. I was okay with no cravings for a while but lately my roommate has been eating chips NONSTOP! AND, she leaves the bag half empty sitting on the kitchen table! I see the bag like 100 times a day, a different bag like every day, of my (used to be) favorite type of chips! I am REALLY being tested here! So I, recognizing the growing difficulty within me to avoid sneaking off to the convenience store- promptly started to make kale chips (which I love so much!) and to last me until they were ready I made myself a raw trail mix with a bit of sea salt and cayenne pepper. The crunch and saltiness of the trail mix was SO satisfying I completely stopped wanting the chips at all! By the time my kale chips were ready (which I am eating right now) I had a new craving: kale! For some reason I just couldn't wait to eat it! I have noticed a craving for greens growing within me.... :)
Anyways, 100% raw today and still going strong! :D I feel so great that I found ways to get over that craving but it would be nice to have roommates that eat more similarly sometimes...oh well, just makes being strong in other food-related social situations more bearable through practice, right? :p

Katchmoleen - You've got the right idea. Keep those raw foods around to beat those cravings. I find that planning ahead like that makes it soooo much easier.
LiveLife - way to go with the chips! I was craving something salty and crunchy tonight myself. I have to make more kale chips, what a great idea! I've tried other greens, but kale is my favorite so far.
Rose Goddess - you're very lucky to have someone like that. Hang on to him.
Redrocket - sounds like you need to carry some kind of snack with you to get you through that hard work. I bet your body was trying to tell you it needed more than just the coconut water. I haven't had the TV on tonight so I didn't know about Michael Jackson until my stepdaughter mentioned it. I was shocked. I saw on the internet where Farah Fawcett died as well, she was only 60. It's such a sad day.
I ate pretty light today, been stressful at work with a LOT to do.
28 oz smoothie with water, blueberries, raspberries, 2 dates, honey, beet greens
raw truffles
2 slices raw pizza
honeydew melon
4 celery stalks with almond butter and honey
68 oz water total
