Just found this cool site and wanted to share. It shows what chemicals are on your food, conventional vs. organic, domestic vs. imported. Looks really neat!

Excellent website. And scary too. Glad I stick with all organic. At least that eliminates most hazards, if not all at times.

i read what our water contains...
what kinda water is safe to drink?
i always thought well water would be better, because it's got minerals & stuff in it... lol maybe distilled well water? UV purified rain water? i dunno.
that site is very disturbing & scary... i am definitely going to buy a plot of land somewhere and have a massive organic garden and numerous greenhouses.... this stuff is incredibly scary. i can't believe people put all this garbage on our food... what if you water the plants with regular water? would the carcinogenic elements and hormones and neurotoxins be fed into the plants? or do they somehow manage to filter out all that garbage?

Yeap, sound like a plan.
I am in a point that i am considering that also. It is overwelming but the more we are informed the more we can still write to our government that technically is supposed to represent the public not the corporation. Sadly, it seems the other way around.
I buy my food as much as i can from our local farmers and they are organic farmers

that's lucky for you! :) my local farmers sell garbage. one of them even imports carrots and other produce, and they all sell very poor quality and even hybrid food items. spotty long beans, half rotten onions and potatoes, moldy carrots, mushy tomatoes, and garlic that's not been properly cured.. it's very frustrating.. :/ i have no other alternative... just keep buying carcinogenic filled, hormonally imbalanced, neurotoxic, reproductive degenerating crap that'll satiate me until i can buy a piece of property somewhere & start my own organic, biodynamic miniature farm. maybe i can make a business out of it & sell people fresh produce at a fair price, instead of them have to wrestle eachother for the last edible carrot in the store...
