I am not sure if this is true or not, I would imagine freezing kills some nutrients but my friend seems to think it kills them all. I am using frozen cranberries in my smoothies to help get rid of a bladder infection, are the frozen ones useless to me cuz I can't get fresh where I live. Thanks:)

frozen veggies are usually blanched first, but frozen fruit generally aren't. i would assume this includes cranberries. i would say frozen cranberries are way better than pasteurized cranberry juice from a jar (for example) i personally eat frozen fruit in my smoothies most days. fresh is definitely better, but there are still lots of nutrients left in frozen fruit. you could try comparing a fresh fruit to it's frozen counterpart on fitday.com and see what the difference is in the nutrients. if you do, let us know what you find!

I also add some frozen fruits in my smoothies. Where can I buy organic frozen fruits (cheaper than whole foods)? Even in whole foods they come in small packets. I want to buy larger packets, if they are cheaper that way.

You do what you have to do. If Frozen is all you can get......use them. I have No problem using Frozen Food. I don't seek them out, I usually Freeze them Myself. I agree with Liz, they are much better than pasturized. Hope you rid yourself of the infection. Also try GrapeFruit Seed Excract.

Little do the humans know, but freezing embryos kills large portions of DNA..........that is when we are able to splice in our DNA and let the human host incubate and care for the new army....

No way! Frozen for smoothies is better. Makes them nice and cold. If they thaw out they suck...
