Hello everyone! I was raw for a few months last year mostly for weight loss purposes but I came to enjoy the additional side effects such as an incredible energy increase and clearer skin. Unfortunately, I didn't go about it the right way and ended up making myself very sick from lack of protein but I'm ready to try again so I can feel fresh and revitalized for my junior year of high school in the fall. Hope to get some motivation and perhaps some new friends from this site. Good luck to all on the raw food journey. ^.^

Hi! and welcome to RFT! So glad that you've already seen some benefits besides weight loss from live food. Can you make some Green Smoothies? I find that if I make them with lots of greens - because greens have loads of protein in them - (handfuls of spinach or kale or romaine, even a cucumber!) added to some yummy fruit along with a couple of Tbsp. of seeds, this drink will get me through, quite comfortably, to lunch and quite often an hour or two after. You are to be commended for caring about your health at such a young age.
