Hi,
I'm learning about becoming 100 % raw (so far I've been eating high-raw German Vollwertkost) and I'm looking for recipes to replace my favourite cooked dishes and have bought raw recipe books. The problem I've encountered is that a lot of the things I've tried didn't really taste good, the crackers, the bread. Can you name a few recipes that are really tasty and ideal for those who seek to replace their baked food like pizza and bread and their main dishes?

I am currently loving the zucchini humous.
I put one peeled lemon (pick the seeds out) and a clove of garlic in the blender and add a chopped zucchini and then a cup of sesame seeds and some cumin. Blend well.
Eat with crackers.

Keep trying. There are so many recipes. What tastes good to one person might be distasteful to another. I've even tried recipes I didn't like, only to find I'm craving it months later. Your tastes will change as you move along.

I would say don't try to imitate your old cooked foods. Look for new favorites. You will find them. :)

Your right when you say that your tastes change.....my youngest daughter (teenager) just said to me when I commented on how good a particular raw treat was "Mom, you've been eating vegan too long". We both laughed. So do you have Alissa's book, she has almost 300 recipes in her book and I have enjoyed most of the recipes I've made from it.

Do you have Alissa's book "Living on Live Food?" If not, I recommend it highly! Lots of recipes from lots of different cuisines and delicious! I am working my way through all the recipes on Alissa and Annie if you want to know what I have to say about any of the recipes. But I am only about halfway through, so the recipe you want to know about may not be there yet. But I just made the Honey Cinnamon Toaster Tarts and whole-heartedly agree with Chi-Iris. Hang in there, this lifestyle is SO worth it.
