Hey all you happy people!
Any tips on warming in the vitamix? I wish it had a thermometer on it!
if you put your hand on the side of the container - and just go till it feels warm to the touch - is that ok?

I used a meat thermometer to check some mushroom soup I made in my Vitamix. It read 117 degrees when it was just warm to the touch (not steaming inside).

stopping and checking with your hand on the inside would work... be sure to stop the machine first though LOL otherwise your dish will NOT be vegan anymore. :p

Don't freak out, if it gets a little warmer. Enzymes START to break down at 104 F, but it takes a while to destroy them. If you eat your soup right away, you'll be fine even if it warmed to 118 or a little higher.
