Welcome to day 19!

I'm gonna post now so that I don't forget or run out of time later tonight :)
So the clean wall thing is here to stay. 100% raw here I come! Lunch today will be parsnip rice and cut up veggies, yum! :)

I don't even know if I'm doing this right. I started a week ago, have not juiced, have not blended. Today will be 1 pint of blueberries, 1 cup baby carrots, 2 apples, giant salad (med. mixing bowl), snack-sized bag of sunflower seeds. My "cheat" will be my annie's tuscany italian dressing....not raw, but not "bad" either. What am I lacking? I feel fine, but feel that I'm not eating what others are eating.
Hey - i did it again -plain raw and simple! It is like learning to walk -one step at the time....

Redrocket - Thanks for the encouragement! I think I will try the raw pizza this weekend. Alissa's recipe looks pretty simple. I like the idea of putting onions in the crust, thanks for mentioning it.
DoingItRight - I make my own flax crackers. I have an Excalibur dehydrator (it was worth every penny). They are really easy to make and you change it up so many different ways. I highly recommend you get Alissa's book and DVD, they are what got me started on raw foods. There are a lot of great ideas in them. Your food choices for today sound great. Just keep it simple at first and try other things from time to time as you go along.
salad with lettuce from the Farmer’s market, tomato, spiral slicer beets, chopped black walnuts, alfalfa and garlic chive sprouts, dulse dressing
Kale salad with chopped tomatoes, chopped orange bell pepper, avocado, salt, pepper, alfalfa and garlic chive sprouts
28 oz smoothie: water, 3 kiwi fruit, pineapple, mango, beet greens
corn “chips” with “taco meat” and “sour cream”
56 oz water total
DoingItRight- it sounds like you're doing great! Everyone eats differently, you just have to listen to your body and follow its lead. It sounds like you enjoy eating simply, and that's totally fine! There's no need for fancy meals or recipes. I don't do that either, I'm way too lazy! LOL.
Oooooh the detox. It's been a full week now of feeling really crappy. Although today at the end of the day I got a burst of energy and actually went and worked out even though I'd already showered! And I really feel like running after work tomorrow. So maybe this bout of detox is nearing its end.
-green smoothie w/ 3 bananas, frozen mango/strawberries/blueberries, kale. Another banana.
-large salad w/ romaine, carrots, red pepper, cucumber, half a small avo, vinegar. Banana & apple.
-about 5.5 bananas for dinner (had to pick around some bruised parts but hey they were on sale and perfectly over-ripe!)
*40 min. power walk w/ hills on the treadmill*
In 2 days we will have been at this for 3 weeks...it's going by so quickly! Great job everyone!

I worked a ten hour shift today and brought a salad for lunch. I was worried I would be ravenous by the end, but actually I was satisfied all day. God bless avocados! They give me long lasting energy.
Doingitright -- You ARE doing it right! Just eat how it makes you happy and healthy.

Carolv, let us know how the pizza turns out:D
B-bananas(not as many as Meow:), blueberries, pineapple, apple, acai powder, chia seeds, avocado, celery, kale and dates smoothie
L-green salad w/ pear, olive oil and lime juice and agave
D-2 raw tostados with asian veggies (very yummy) I shared with a few friends
Went to the movies and brought along a raw caramel chocolate bar, ate a few small pieces (got more on my pants) and a few raw sprouted pastacio nuts (very expensive but great tasting, much better than roasted any day) watched "Year One" some funny moments but entertaining, who couldn't laugh at Jack Black and Michael Cera?
late S-the rest of my morning smoothie

I also worked a 10 hour shift today. I had my newly made almond garlic crackers with a seed pate that actually tastes a lot like ham salad to me, yum. And an avocado. That was lunch.
Breakfast was dehydrated almond cookies.
Supper, more crackers and pate and a big salad
Now I am going to have some strawberries with a few cookies and some cashew cream topping. It is my son's 20th birthday and everyone else is having strawberry shortcake with homemade ice cream. I made him scalloped potatoes and ham for supper, which I love, but was happy that I was not particularly tempted.
I have a ROTTEN headache, though, blech. We are going camping this weekend so I will check back in on Monday.
