Hi I'm new here and I figured I'd join so I could try and get some answers about my situation..

So I've been doing raw on and off for about a year now? I read Green for life by Victoria Boutenko (sp?) and it like inspired me to do more with raw food and everything. I don't know what it was it just spoke to me anyways.

So I have Sebborheic Dermatitis and Keratosis Pilaris and it's the two things I really seem to hate about my appearance because you can't really hide them and I'm SO sick of chemicals and everything on my skin and basically what I was wondering if anyone has or knows someone whose had a change or basically it just disappeared once they were on raw long enough? My mom said she once met a guy who suffered from it a RAW convention and he had SD and it completely cured itself but I don't knoww..

Just would like some feedback please!

i'm not familur with Keratosis Pilaris, but i have seb derm and rosacea. to my understanding seb derm is more of a candida infection. they say it's a disease.
some people do a candida cleanse and see an absence or greatly reduced amount of seb derm. it's an ongoing very long prossess to rid of. there are very strict dets to follow as well. i haven't experiemented with any cleanses yet, but i've seen many topics on the subject here with raw foods you may want to search to check out.

lemon water is suppose to really help and saurqraut.. probiotics. eating and applying raw extra virgin coconut oil helps out a lot when i had dry patches. but my not being familur with the K.P. i would do a test patch first.

although i read you're not seeking it... but i use prosacea on my face for seb derm and rosacea. it's sold in drug stores and hasn't been tested on animals. it has sulfer in it.

I wish there was a raw doctor in the house. Instead I will recommend persistence and patience. With time your condition should improve as you eat raw vegan food. I know I saw my own skin become clearer and more even toned and blemish free within a month's time.

If you're looking for some genuine article of a lotion/cream to use to help I would say Jason's brand is good---available at your local natural health food store. (Cruelty-free and all that jazz.)

Best wishes!
