View Full Version : New here, wondering Hippocrates vs. Tree of Life...
Hey everyone, I've been lurking for a while, but finally registered so that I could thank you all for the inspiration you give and ask questions if I need to. My first question regards Hippocrates Health Institute and the Tree of Life rejuvenation center.
My summer semester comes to an end next week and I am thinking of attending one of these centers for the summer before I go back to school. I wanted to hear experiences and details. Has anyone gone to either of them or know someone who has? What was your/their experience like? Has anyone been to both?
I guess, in short, I'm curious as to the overall value, not monetarily (although that is important also as I'm a student...), but emotionally. I see both websites give a similar daily 'schedule'. I have emailed about the cost and information on the various programs at each center, but am waiting on a response.
Thanks for any information you provide. I really appreciate it!
What is it you're wanting to achieve?
I have a friend who had problems with her knees and all of her joints. She went to Hippocrates and had a great experience.

I have attempted to be raw time and time again and although it's something I really want, I have a hard time getting started. I would be going to get guidance & relaxation. I also have about 40 lbs to lose, a toxic body, and Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome.

Tree of Life is a wonderful, supportive, peaceful environment. I have been there twice, and felt very nurtured both times - they also have DELICIOUS food and Dr. Gabriel Cousens has a proven track record of helping people heal themselves on living foods + positive spiritual reinforcement.
Whichever you choose, I wish you the best on your journey. :)

I think Tree of Life is better for most. Hippocrates is more for people with illnesses. Have heard many great experiences with Tree of Life, those new and old to raw.

Thanks, Green_Woman! I have also heard such great things about Tree of Life. The only unfortunate thing is that Tree of Life costs almost $1,000-2,000 dollars more for a 3 week program. Since I am a poor student- it may come down to cost. The plane ticket to Tucson will also cost more than the ticket to Florida... so I'll have to see how much I can save.

Thank you, Dimond. I talked to the person in charge of the Life Change Program at HHI and I believe their program might be for me. Along with PCOS, I experience fatigue, thyroid issues, irregular periods, gluten intolerance, chronic constipation and have cysts on my ovaries.
I am planning my trip for July/August and I will let you all know how it goes.

Hope it works out for you. It's a good place too.

If it comes down to cost alone and Tree of Life is, indeed, more expensive, then HHI it will have to be.
Thanks. :)
