View Full Version : Not nuts over the nuts

I'm on day 4 of being raw, and I'm not feeling to love with all the nuts.

I tried Alissa's alfredo sauce recipe...I ate it, but have no desire to repeat. I've tried snacking on nuts a bit after having soaked them, but really don't care for them much.

anyone have any great recipes that hide the nutty-ness, or any other suggestions?

How about just not eating the nuts? It sounds like your body doesn't dig them. There are plenty of other foods you can eat. You can also substitute seeds...sunflower...pumpkin for example...in some of the recipes. It's trial and error as you find what works best for you. You can certainly do raw without the nuts. You're doing great...best wishes as you continue.

Maybe instead of soaking the nuts, just eat them raw like a snack. Raw almonds are the bomb (IMO).

I have the opposite problems - I can't get enough nuts. I could eat them all day long.
