View Full Version : glutinous rice flour (sweet rice flour)

hiya :)

i was just wondering if anyone knows if you can just soak & stir glutinous rice paste or if you have to bring it to a boil before it gets to it's full thickening power? i am asking, because i would like to make some rice cakes & i also use the mix when i make kimchi. :/ i've made kimchi without it, though.. it's just how they do it in korea to make the red sauce that pasty consistency. lol
