Hey, Even though I havent been raw long, I've had a few slipups and I'm just wondering how do you keep the motivation to do it? Because after I eat like one of my cooked veggie burgers or something I feel so guilty, and I dont like how it makes me feel. It would really help if I had a dehydrator, or a processor, maybe even a sprouter, so I could make some awesome recipes. But all I can eat now are some green smoothies, salads, and nuts. I know thats the main thing that you do eat but it would be nice to make some good stuff using a dehydrator. Are there any recipes that you don't have to use that in order to make it? Thanks

If you have Seeds, Water and a pan, sack or cloth, heck seeds will sprout on the counter if you keep water on them. You don't need any fancy tools to Sprout.

You can get a Food Processor from any Mart Store of check out yard sales of thrift stores. Even ask a Family member, someone always has something they are not using and would love to give it to you.

What about a Sharp Knife...........Problem Solved. You have the Sun or leaving your oven door open will surfice as a dehydrator. Now I have covered all Bases, so any more excuses?

Just take time, eat an Apple, Grapes etc and enjoy your Journey. It's not all about making Mock Foods, its Simply about staying RAW. Have a RAW Day....

oh.. you just reminded me!!

you may try your local freecycle. http://www.freecycle.org/ people are always giving stuff away for free! :) you may be required to give someone something of yours in order to join freecycle, but, it'd be worth it to nab a juicer or dehydrator :) i'm going to do that myself! :)

also for sprouting, you can use those dollar store tins that people use to bake pies... or even get one of those plastic peat pot seed starting kits with the lids & stuff for under 20.00 & they have a tray & a lid & everything :) and here's a link on how to make your own seed starting kit: http://growindie.com/2009/02/10/diy-seed-starting-kit/ hope this helps!! thanks for the inspiration spicyfull! : )

Hey thanks for all that info, it means alot, and now I cant wait to get started.

Okay so I looked at my oven and the lowest it goes is, 170 degrees. So I probably can't do that now? I do know that my microwave also turns into an oven type thing so I could look more into that :)

Your oven may be 170 degrees, but chances are the food you put inside it won't actually get that hot. For one, you're leaving the door open. Secondly, a turkey in the oven at Thanksgiving never reaches the oven's temperature, even after being in there for hours...terrible analogy, but it goes to show that your food will still probably be fine. Take its temp if you're worried. I've done this and had great results.
