I'm going into my 6th 100% raw day, and I'm not feeling the love of this diet. The positives are that I feel lighter and I'm calmer. However, the negatives are: I can't sleep, my muscles are very tight, I'm weak/fatigued, so I don't have energy to do more than a small workout, I have serious spaced out moments, and I'm very restless if I sit (or lie down) for a period of time. I've been eating like a pig, so is this going to go away, or is there something missing in my diet? Thanks.

Welcome to Detox. It will Change. Drink more water to help speed things along. Keep eating like a, did you say pig? :). Soon you will be Smiling and Glowing and Leaping Tall Buildings.

We do not all Detox alike. I just read a Thread, someone a week into RAW has already, more Energy.

So Hang in there................

Make sure you eat plenty. What have you been eating?

You could go through anxiety. Make sure you eat anything that satisfy you to train your mind that this diet is comfortable. Please don't try to be religious about it and simply enjoy the journey.

If you had a very poor diet before and a lot of substance, yes you will go through a more deep detox, but it will pass and you will feel better. I find that including green smoothie really help me to transition more gracefully.

Hope you fee well soon!

I agree. Green smoothies made a HUGE difference for me. They help you get the nutrition you need, with sleep and with the spacey feelings. Hang in there, it's so worth it.

detox is like this, especially at the beginning...what i did was douse myself in all things raw - books support people restaurants healing energy - and kept on keeping on the path, having faith in it all the way.

on a more practical matter (hehee): are you getting enough sunlight? fresh air? skin brushing? quality sleep?

the best thing to do is support your body's attempts to heal in every and any way you can

sit quietly and listen to the messages from your body that are getting clearer and clearer as all the toxic noise leaves for good: you will know just what to do : )

blessings for the journey!
