Has anybody spent a day (or more) eating just grapes?
What do you think about this type of cleanse?

You can probably make almost any fruit work for a very brief cleanse. Grapes may be difficult in terms of how much you'd need to buy and consume to make it work well. Apples are suppose to be really good for this.

I was just going to say the same thing!!!
I love mono eating for a whole day as a cleanse and have done it with apples before.
Good stuff!!

I think the reason grapes sound easiest for me is that I probably won't eat a lot, and they're easier to graze on. An apple is not always easy to eat...whereas grapes can be popped into my mouth easily throughout the day as I need them.
Eva, you seem to have a lot of radiance (good energy) coming through your posts. You seem to have it together. What are your thoughts on water? Do you drink intuitively or a certain amount each day? Do you drink a certain amount upon arising? (Even David Wolfe says to drink 1-1.5 litres (quarts) upon arising each morning.) Do you drink lemon water upon arising?

I always say do what works best for you. If it's grapes, do it. :)

Wow, that is a very nice thing to say! I actually stopped drinking as much water when I started this Bikram yoga challenge last month, which makes no sense at all... Somehow I feel like I don't need as much water. But generally I still drink a glass in the morning and a glass before bed plus whatever I feel like. I remember a ways back when I was feeling really dehydrated and yet drinking HUGE amounts of water. It just wasn't working! When I added ACV to water, that helped a lot, though.
As for the grapes, I totally understand. I love to graze on grapes. Have you tried them frozen??? Sometimes I buy a box of grapes and just stick 'em in the freezer so I can pop them when I want a touch of sweet and something to graze on. They are so good that way. Blueberries too. Yum yum.
And really, I totally agree with everything Dimond said on this thread. I think you could pick any fruit and stick to it the whole day for a nice, easy but still useful cleanse. :)

I have a book from 1928 called The Grape Cure by Johanna Brandt. She was well known at the time for this method of curing disease and maintaining good health, even if most medical doctors thought she was a quack (Huh, times have not changed  ). She and her work are often referenced these days by alternative health care professionals who have again discovered this cure. So your intuition is right on :D

Eva...why do you drink water before bed? (just out of interest)
rawlight...i've been reading exerpts from her book via the internet...i suppose a grape cure is the same as an apple cure or a watermelon cure...in terms of digestive ease...although i suppose each is slightly different nutritionally speaking... people use the grape cleanse as a way to heal cancer or for just general cleansing... i suppose it is best to eat seasonally. eating all bananas or apples doesn't sound appealing to me. grapes or watermelons sounds better... i'm just wondering about becoming unbalanced...is it too much sugar?
