Before & During

I didn't do a posed before picture but I managed to find one I could crop the other person out of. I also haven't done a posed during picture but again found one that I cropped the other person out of. And amazingly, I am wearing the same shirt in both photos!

This change is from a little over 4 months on very nearly 100% raw, except for the occasional nibble of something containing an ingredient that isn't totally raw. For instance, agave nectar, or nama shoyu, or not true raw (but labeled raw) cashews. 45 lbs have literally melted off of me, without any extra effort on my part. I have not been doing any sort of organized exercise or any extra activities. That is going to change as I want to firm up more and do some sculpting of my body. I have noticed that at 47 (48 in 7 days) the elasticity factor has definitely diminshed :eek:. But all in all, I'd say my body is keeping up with the changes pretty well, and I am taking MSM off and on to help it cope. I now only own 1 pair of jeans that doesn't slip off of me while buttoned and zipped :D. I am hoping to have melted another 5 lbs off by my birthday, and will be happy with whatever amount melts off by then.

Anyone can do this! It just feels fantastic and the people on this forum are so very supportive! YOU RAWK!

It just doesn't seem to want to budge. I am on day 2 of all raw and not feeling so good but will stick with it.

Thank you katchmoleen! You can do this! Give your body time to detox and give yourself the rest and patience you deserve. I have noticed a big difference between releasing weight in my early forties and releasing weight in my late forties. Be loving with your incredible body and it will miraculously heal itself. I have some advice (if you don't mind)... eat eat eat. That's what I did. I ate anything I wanted as often as I wanted as long as it was raw.

And the weight melted off me. When I was lighter, I began exercising. Yoga, treadmill, rebounder...

So here I am after one year of eating RAW living foods! I also included my original before & during shot so you can see where I started.

Please keep in mind that I have NOT been doing any form of organized exercise, nor have I stepped up my level of basic activity. The exercise comes this "fiscal body year".

My friend and I are TRYING to be serious but we were just having too much fun! In one of these shots I have just barely started to form a word, so it looks a bit odd, but the body shot works ;).
