For the past week i've been in an absolute avocado craze. I've had about three Hass avocados a day, really yummy.
Yesterday i just started to crave oil as well. I feel no desire to eat nuts or seeds, just the oils and the avos.
So i've had salads with oil on them yesterday and today, but after feeling full and satisfied hunger-wise after my lunch salad a little while ago, i still feel a huge "need" to eat oils and avocados.

I know all cravings are cravings for a reason, but this one just doesn't seem to fade, even though i eat the things i crave (cos i know they're good for me).

Should i just go crazy and drink some sunflower oil ;)? Could i be deficient in something and trying to compensate? I'm perfectly fine having avos for brekkie, lunch and dinner, but i also want to make sure i'm not lacking something.

What do you reckon?

Eat eat eat mdear!

Lol, I'd have a little drink of the oil to see what my body said about it.

Just continue till your body says stop, unless the craving has a 'wrong' feeling about it. You learn to tell the difference between a healthy and an unhealthy craving/need/desire. You might know already.

I would say just go for it! those kinds of fats are good for you, and I bet your not compensating for something else -- I bet you're just giving your body exactly what it is asking for -- those fats and omegas ARE the thing, not the substitutes for something better. When i first started raw, I was all about nuts, avos and raw olives. I wanted the fat and the omegas!!!! but I mistakenly thought something was the matter with me, so I tried to ignore those desires. And I think that's when I fell back onto cooked food. I think my body was just grasping for what it needed wherever it thought it could get it, and I was being stubborn and not giving it what it needed. So listen to your raw desires.
If your body is asking for things from the unadulterated natural world, then that's something to celebrate right there.:) It knows what it's doing.
