anyone know where i might be able to bottle my own spring water in massachusetts? i'm near cambridge.

Actually, Boston's source is the Quabbin Reservoir -- very good water. If you want to fill your own containers, go to the Whole Foods in Medford. To the right of the store - there is a place to fill your own containers.

OH! and Harvest Coop in Central Sq - you can fill containers there too (last I knew)

For a real spring... can't help you there :)

isnt the quabbin water chlorinated first before being released into the taps? i dont know, im just wondering. i thought boston had chlorinated water

Huh... Interesting. There was that whole 'drink tap water' campaign recently (to reduce the plastic bottle use). Plus people around here are always bragging about the quality of the water in Boston -- after all -- towns were *drowned* just to get the water to greedy Boston.

it's on rte 20 *right* over the town line from chester on the right hand side. do you know where Blandford rd meets rte 20? It's about approx 1/10th of a mile past where those 2 roads meet.

There's a spring in Southampton MA just off Cold Spring Road LOL.

oh can you post the directions? not familiar with southampton, but it's not too far for me.
