I tested the pH of my newly caught mountain spring water with some pH tape. It reads 6.2-6.4. I was looking online and found that peeps are saying that water needs to be pH 8-9 in order to be super beneficial. What do you think?

check out Daniel Vitalis on you tube. He gives great information on spring water. He is very knowledgable on this topic and has great information posted. I went to one of his lectures recently and I believe his preference is water a bit on the acidic side...

Acidic water hydrates you better, and it doesn't make your body acidic. The water picks up lots of organic acids as it passes through rich forest soil. These acids can eb really good for us. Lemons, for example, are acidic but alkalinize the body.
