Nothing tastes good. I've been raw for 10 days now and have suffered the worst detox ever (yes I'm such a drawma queen)LOL. I lost my appitite and eating simple fruits was all I could handle. Now that I am up and out of bed my appitite has returned. Nothing I make tastes any good.
I've tried Kim chi (was never a big fan of ginger but gave it a go)
Guacamole (seemed so pungent)
nori rolls dipped in braggs (still tasted bland)
flax crackers with cream cheese and cucumber slices (weren't bad but only ate 2) on their own not so good.
I had pesto pasta (courgettes) last week and enjoyed it but the thought of it is making me ill today. Even the thought of a salad.
I got hunger pains, I am hungry. Is this just part of detox?
I feel like my taste buds have gone AWOL.
Mabey my body just wants me to eat simply just now.

Any thoughts?

Has anyone seen my taste buds out there?:confused:

Top tip for finding out what you really need:

1. Go to a store with a really good produce section
2. Walk around, take your time and try to imagine all the different flavours of the things that you look at
3. sooner or later something will feel very attractive, you will feel drawn to it.
4. Get a lot of that, whatever it is and...
5. Eat it until you don't want it any more (which, in my experience can take days).

When i've been playing the tune-in game i've had the most delicious meals of my life. These have included: 2lbs of watermelon in one serving, 4 avocados in one serving, the best banana i've ever had, one whole jar of sprouts et.c. et.c.

Don't try figuring it out intellectually, just give yourself the opportunity to listen to your own signals!

I feel like I'm craving olives. I'm off to my local healthfood store and see what I'm attracted to. Salads and all recepies are out for now. :)
