Hi,

I'm new to this list and new to raw foods. I've been raw since April. I feel great and love the diet, but I have occasional pains in my groin area. I'm trying to localize when I have the pains, but I haven't totally figured it out.

At first I thought it could be a hernia, but my MD examined me and said it wasn't. I just had some blood and urine tests done and some uterine and abdomen sonograms. Everything is normal.

I notice the pains most after I eat or drink. I just had a delicious green juice (celery, parsley, kale, cucumber and apple) and a half an hour later I felt the same pain. It's in my groin area on the right side and goes up to my pelvis (so it's a large area on my right side from my groin to my pelvis). Does anyone have any idea what this can be from? Weird?!! I'm right in the midst of this. My doctor said everything is normal...and that was that. Meanwhile, I'm experiencing these pains.

Thanks,
Gloria

The good thing is that all of your imaging is normal so it is probably something minor.
It sounds like it is your ascending colon. Have you considered visiting a colon hydrotherapist.

I have these too.....I wait and it passes. It shows up in places I have had challenges before so I know it is merely cleansing. I feel happy and blessed for it and let it pass when it is ready.

Hi,

When do you notice your pains? After which foods?

Thanks,
