I am doing Master Cleanse right now - day 9. I plan to go to a raw vegan diet once I get off the fast. The fast has been great detox-wise -- my seasonal allergies are basically gone. I never thought I'd even come close to 10 days!
I was already vegan (for a long time), had a healthy diet, but was eating a lot of soy, soymilk cappuccino :D , and my hubby often cooks with MSG (he's from HK). Over the past couple of years, my digestion of veggies (especially raw) had gotten progressively worse. I was unable to eat raw veggies without horrid gas. So, I recently was replacing that with superfood and additional fiber.
I am hoping the fast 'resets' my digestive system. I really want to be able to go raw... but... not if I get gassy!
So... has anyone had trouble eating veggies? Did it get better? Were there any tricks?
