I've been raw for about 10 days now (I was raw for a month earlier this year) and it's been a mixture of awesome, and, well, detox. The only problem I'm really having is that I get constant head rushes (you know, like where everything starts looking darker and it's hard to think because all of the blood is rushing to your head) when I sit up. I think it's related to blood pressure.
The one way I've found of getting rid of the head rushes is to eat about two pinches of sea salt every day-- one earlier, and one later. This makes sense to me because prior to being raw I'm certain that I ingested loads more sodium every day, and being raw I don't; I hardly ever had head rushes before going raw.
So my question is really stated in the title of this thread: Are the head rushes likely from salt deficiency, in which case I should keep trying to get it, or are they more likely from some unnatural dependancy on salt that my body is trying to get over? I know nobody here can give medical advice, so I'm just asking what your opinions are. Thanks!
