View Full Version : Ner Raw restaurant in Calgary

I just found out about a new vegetarian restaurant in Calgary. It's in Kensington. And on Friday's they do raw!!!! A friend went who is a meat eater and said it was fantastic. I think its called Gratitude Cafe. Hmm name sounds familiar!! Can't wait to try it. Maybe this Friday since we are going out to a Brazilian Churrascuria for Father's Day. Meat galore. (they have a salad bar for me). I'll report back for my fellow Calgarians.

PS. That would be NEW not NER raw restaurant. I guess I can't edit the title!

They have a Restaurant here called Cafe Gratitude, maybe its a franchise.........IN JOY your outing.

hey Snoops, Im from Calgary too!

Its called Gratitude Cafe, on 10th just off Kensington. I went there last night for the Raw food night, and much to my disappointment the raw food chef was sick, so she cancelled.

The staff told me that she did a burger last week that everyone raved about. I'll have to go next friday!

They are a veg & vegan restaurant so they had a pretty good menu in general. They also have some organic wines and beers. We ended up staying anyways, and I had my first cooked meal in a week.

They are not affiliated with Cafe Gratitude, btw.

Good to know, guess I'd want to call ahead of time to make sure the chef is there. I guess Pot Lucking is a sure way to meet some of the BEST CHEF'S in the Raw Community! ;)
