Do you cut it with a rind and put through juicer or do you juice rind through juicer and fleshy part just goes through straining bag directly?

if it's not organic - and I can't find organic seeded ones, I don't do the rind.
I've found it easier to just squeeze the dickens out of it over a strainer, rather than have to wash the juicer....
But if organic, then I scrub the outer part and put it all through...

I cut off the flesh and run it through.

I always juice the rind even if it is non organic, I scrub it well using the veg wash and then soap.
I cut off the rind with about half an inch of the flesh attached and put that through the juicer. I drink the juice and then I eat the remaining flesh,

I usually pick the seeds out and process in the Vitamix...today there were a lot of seeds so I pulsed it in the food processor and then strained it........came out fine....blended some with frozen blueberries...yum!!!:D

It is not recommended that you mix watermelon with anything else because the enzymes that it needs clash with everything.

Yes sport that's what they say...but my digestive system embraces them both with no difficulty. :)

I think, juices are different - you can mix them, because their digestion is different - it takes just 10 minutes for nutrients to get to the blood.

Coincidence coming across this posting today as I bought a huge watermelon yesterday with plans to juice it! Very helpful information here to consider.

I've been using one of those personal/mini seedless watermelons for a week now. I just chop it into pieces 1-2 cups worth and blend it all in a blender--minus the rind.
(Cleaning a blender is faster than cleaning a juicer for me.)
Just make sure you eat it on an empty stomach--preferably.

It is not just about the cleaning. It is about the nutrients and I understand that most of those are in the skin and the only way to get at them is by juicing. I buy the darker green ones because they look healthier.

Watermelon is too easy to juice. Just squeeze it and a lot of jusce will come out. But putting it in a rid is not bad.
