Hey everyone, I'm Cody I'm 17 and I'm sorta new to this whole raw food thing. I've been a vegetarian for 6 months then went vegan, and now I want to be a raw vegan haha. I know I can't be 100% raw because I'm on medication for depression and such. But I want to be totally raw vegan hopefully soon. I've only been doing this for a week, and I love it. I just am having some trouble finding things to eat, I'm sure a lot of people go through this and I bet there's some good info on here about all that so I'll check it out :). I'm glad I found this place and I'll talk to you all later.

I'm in the same boat. I'm starting the raw food conversion and looking for things to eat. What exactly is a sprouted grain? Anyone know? And where would I find it?

Its a Grain that has been soaked in water for a few hours or overnight, rinsed at least 3 times a day, during which time you will began to see a small white tails coming from the Grain.......that's your Sprout. Sprouts are Good for you and can be inexpensive to prepare. The more you attempt Sprouting......the better you become.

Alissa's Book, Living on Live Food, covers Everything you need during your very delicate Beginning plus there's Always help here at this Forum. Try Sprouting and you will FALL IN LOVE WITH IT.........
