I've been sooooooooooo ill. Been in bed for 2 days, no energy, pains that made me cry. I actually wanted to tear my legs off they were so sore. I had to cave in and have pain killers last night.
I've suffered arthritis since turning 30, so my joints were in so much pain. I couldn't eat, so had a water fast yesterday. My throat is covered in a white film, my breath stinks of chemicals.
Once the pain killers kicked in I body brushed myself and had the hottest shower I could withstand. I put my detox foot pads on and managed to get a good nights sleep.
Has anyone else been this bad?

woke up late, beautiful day

i bought a lot of fruit yesterday, so this morning I had:
two bananas, and a small hass avocado. I dipped one of the bananas in cayenne pepper. That stuff is the spice of the gods. A meal hardly goes by that I don't dip into the cayenne pepper:)

don't know what I'm doing for the rest of the day. I have a fridge full of chickweed and a garden full of kale, so probably something really green.

Today me too, I don't feel great oh well the unwelcome inside me is coming out. No cravings for anything bad so far. My back was bothering me and some irritability. No complaints though :-)
B - bananas, pineapple, blueberries, red chard, apple, celery and dates smoothie
L - Raw veggie wrap, raw chili for dipping (this was very good at local organic market, they are offering a raw entree for lunch)
S - a few plums
S - one banana with almond butter
D - a big green salad with shredded cabbage with olive oil and lime juice dressing and a dollop of veggie dressing (made with cashews, lime juice and dill) on the side for dipping (good combo).

I bought a food processor today!!!!!!!:p

Juwo, welcome!

Sheena, I'm so sorry you've felt so terrible. I think your body will really thank you for feeing it living foods in the long run, though!

I've had a bad headache all day, doesn't help that I'm surrounded by 20 barking dogs all day either! But other than that I'm feeling ok.

-green smoothie w/ 3 bananas, frozen strawberries/blueberries/mango, kale. 2 small bananas w/ raw cacao powder.
-salad w/ spring mix lettuce, a little of each of shredded carrots, grape tomatoes, cucumber slices, celery & red onion, half an avocado, vinegar. Apple, nectarine, banana.
-4 bananas- 2 w/ raw cacao powder

Workout was cleaning dog kennels this morning and running around all day- no real exercise today with this headache though. I'll eat something light later, but the bananas were my dinner lol.

Today I had some emotional cleansing going on . . . being a raw foodist for 3 1/2 years I have experienced the only time I really desire to eat cooked food is if I am trying to distract myself from some emotion that is coming to the surface (comfort food). Only rarely does it have to do with my nutritional requirements (like when I crave sweet potatoes). I bought myself a baby Aloe Vera plant today!! It's so cute:)

I was craving something again today but couldn't figure out what it was, how frustrating! I ate a lot of sweet fruit today so maybe I should make a dessert or something. I am glad though that I have been able to think of some creative lunches for work (ex bukchoy leaves to spread guacamole on and chopped tomatoes, yum!) :)

I went for a short run today.... so happy about it as it's been too long since I've done that. Tomorrow I plan to get up early so I can go for a one hour bike ride before getting ready for work.

L - two pieces of buckwheat/zucchini bread, one large avocado, several slices cucumber and tahini
S - mango
S - 1/2 slice of same bread with tahini and agave nectar, a few walnuts
D - large mixed green salad with shredded carrot and beet, corn, tomato and a dressing made with EVO, lemon juice, nama shoyu, almond butter, garlic, and dill
S - sliced strawberries, small piece of fudge (pecans/dates/cocoa) and young coconut cream

I just moved into a house with a lot of other people already living in it. It's a wonderful community, but I just came home and someone ate all my peanut butter, all my bananas, my plum, and confiscated my avocado and put it among their own food...AAAARGH! That's like 10 bucks worth of foooood!

I'm sure they didn't realize what was up and maybe they thought this food was communal. But I'm in a bad mood nonetheless, until it gets cleared up.

I have experienced that. Now whenever I move in with someone we always discuss possible scenarios frist and I ALWAYS mention that I don't want to share food and where my food will be located vs their food. I hope this helps.

Also, I figured out last night what I was craving...water! As soon as I had some water I felt so satisfied! I also realized that I have not been drinking very much water during the day, especially at work. Such a simple solution....
