Back from vacation and stayed with two separate friends. Both have decided to resume Raw eating because of the example I set while staying with them. Prepared Raw foods daily and never preached that they should go Raw again. I left it up to them.

One friend said my skin was glowing. Feel so good to know that my efforts are bearing fruit.

So proud of myself that I managed to stay mostly Raw while on this two-week vacation.

So much can be said, Positively or Negative, without a Word being Spoken. I am SO HAPPY you let your Light Shine on RAW. I know you had a RAW ol' time on your Vacation:).

Woot Woot!

This is going to get good! I'm so excited to see how this plays out in the next 10-20 years!

Thank you and yes, I had a wonderful vacation. Thankfully Atlanta has a great Raw foods restaurant and I took my personal blender and made up a delicious soup. I think I am now addicted to doing Raw simply after this vacation.

T-Bird, as we get older, I know that staying Raw is going to be a great testament to the power of living foods. I can already see the results after just a couple of months.

Raw Living is great!!!!!

True!

But my original comment was more aimed at RAW becoming more widespread and common! Dare we hope - mainstream??

I pray for this day and I'm already seeing so many more people who have heard of Raw AND are curious.

I was (well, before my husband got ahold of my diet by cooking dinner all the time) a bit of a health nut and had lots of cous cous and only whole wheat and no white bread and only free range etc. etc. etc...

but until I had an ulcer and gas, I'd NEVER even HEARD of people eating only raw food.

Now, even the most unlikely folks seem to know something about it!! I run into people all the time!

Sounds great on your vacation by the way!!! :) Way to go! Do you mind sharing what you got to do on the vacation or where you went?

Is it called "SunFlower"...I can't remember if it was Vegeterian or RAW. I heard about it Years ago and the Owner was such a Lovely Lady.

it sounds like we both spread some RAW love in the south. After I visited my mom in Atlanta she became super inspired and is now incorporating raw food ideas into all her meals. She's not aiming at 100% or anything, but the seed has been planted and she's feeling more vibrant and happy:)
...now if only my overweight, workaholic, mildly depressed dad would stop eating so much SAD food...

Eva: It is very popular here in California and as you said people who I would not have expected to have of it have and they usually have lots of questions.

I went to Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, North Carolina. My church had it's annual conference in Atlanta. I drove to North Carolina to visit my bestfriend and her son, then drove back to Atlanta for the conference. Atlanta has a great Raw foods restaurant and I ate there alot and then I prepared my food at my friend's place as well. It was a wonderful trip and the Southeast is a beautiful area, although the humidity was a bit much for this California girl. We drove around trying to find property in Atlanta. There are some real steals there due to all the foreclosures. Atlanta and Charlotte are both beautiful cities. I love how friendly people are in the South.

No, this place is called lovin' it live and they have the best Raw Soul food I have ever tasted. I practically ate there everyday. I took a class there last year while I was visiting.
