What about keeping the Sun of the area. Lemon Juice might work. I really can't think of anything right now so just call this a "BUMP".........

I think pure Vitamin E oil is supposed to fade scars. You could buy Vitame E supplement capsules and poke a hole in them with a pin and squeeze it on.

Actually, maybe check out this article. It suggests some topical natural treatments.

Ohhhh boy I just use coconut oil(eaten and applied) for any skin condition known to humans! It is a miracle!!!
gotu kola has very good scar healing properties but its the worlds best kept secret and you usu wont find it in an otc preparation. if you can get some dried and make an infusion out of it to make into a lotion, salve, etc that would work. as well vit e (non soy derived), aloe, coc oil, coc butter (no scientific evidence that it lightens scars but its a great moisturizer), and hemp. id eat some of this stuff as food and do a topical.

Many people have been helped by unrefined shea butter when nothing else seemed to work. I make my own shea butter-coconut oil barrier cream for my own use, and it has been tremendously useful for so many things. A friend of mine used some of my concoction on her old cat that had massive skin irritation on its tummy, and it really improved, while the expensive stuff from the vet didn't.

Hi cara4art ~ I would so appreciate it if you could post how you make your barrier cream. And could you let me know where you get your shea butter.
This is something I think would really help my husband with his psoriasis.
Thanks so much! *Ü*
