:(well, here i am so angry with myself because i cheated terribly today. i went to the gym and after had to go food shopping with my kids. I was so hungry after my workout that when I was at the food store I opened a bag of sun chips and ate almost the entire bag. I felt gross afterwards.
I have always been in very good shape. Never worried about my weight except for maybe 5-10 lbs. I think that is why I talk myself into eating things that I know I shouldn't.,
Anyway, sorry to rant but I feel very frustrated with myself today. I just wanted junk food and my craving won. Well, tomorrow is a new day.
Thanks ,
liz

Falling off the wagon is eating a huge burger with fries. This isn't falling off the wagon - you just hit a speed bump. Drive on...

Guilt is more toxic then the food!

Focus on your accomplishment. You went to the gym wow, this is huge. You ate many good stuff today.

Don't worry, learn your lessons, stand up, shake it off and move on.

I know that if i make exception i had to deal with the discomfort of craving, so i think twice now, lol....

You are doing very good, don't you worry about that bag of chip.

Nah, "falling off the wagon"... You stopped the wagon, had some chips and resumed your journey

Since this isn't a diet, there is no such thing as cheating. When you think in terms of 'cheating' with foods, you actually make things worse - as your 'diet' becomes one of deprivation. That only makes cravings stronger, I think. Most of us have all been at diets at some point or the other, which have failed us. If you are sincere about transitioning to a raw lifestyle, then don't set yourself up for failure already by having an all-or-nothing attitude.

Allow yourself to just eat as much raw as you can (challenge yourself, but don't beat yourself). And allow your preferences for fresh raw fruits and vegetables to grow on their own.

There's two things I don't like about slips:

1) The way I feel afterward.
2) The way the cravings return the next day so much stronger.

A lot of people like to make excuses for themselves like, “well it could have been 2 bags” or “I did work out hard at the gym.” We justify our mistakes.

I think you should truly indulge in an emotion you feel. If you feel beautiful truly feel beautiful. If you’re happy truly be happy. If you’re sad truly be sad. If you feel disgusting truly feel disgusting. Don’t over look emotions just because they are “bad.” Truly be in the moment and get it all out of your system even if it means you feel awful for the next half hour.

Just realize that it’s ok to feel disgusting after doing something you know you shouldn’t have done. Don’t justify things because it only makes it that much easier to commit that mistake again.

Well at least that mentality works for me.

this moment is the new moment. Whenever I eat some off my plan, I embrace it and have my body work with it for health.

I want to get back on green juice right away to balance my body.
