Iherb was giving that away awhile back. It's another Jordan Rubin "book" that promotes his vitamin line. Hey, it's still worth a read for free if you have the time :-) and especially if you can afford his supplements. But I wouldn't call it a raw book. It talks about the importance of taking raw and living supplements and how his supplements are made. I don't think he's a raw-foodie but is into a whole, organic diet complete with lots of "good" meat and raw dairy, etc. Seems like a nice guy, though.

If this book is just advertisement for the Raw Code products, I think it should just be a free PDF download. I can't imagine many people paying to purchase advertisement. Am I missing something?
Also, on the Raw Code website, it says the vitamins are 'RAW' but there are no specifications of what that means. Does that mean it was dried at low temperatures (110 or less)? It's vague.

I agree, nothing comes free. It does look tempting to get that.
I bough RAWSOME by Brigitte Mars. It is very well done and plenty of information of what food contain which nutriments etc.... Specific amino acid as well. It does come with recipes. She talks also about eatable flowers.
As per the China Study, he discussed how much the world of corporation twisted their research about vitamin. Researcher try to single out element to see what the do but they say that we need to eat the whole food for that to work. Vitamin C supplement is bad news but if you eat the food that contain vitamin C it will work its magic. It is far more complexe then just taking vitamine c alone, you need the other chimical to process it fully and he recommends to eat for instance an apple with the skin after being washed.
Thank you for sharing!

When we say that our multi-vitamins are Uncooked, we mean that none of our nutrients identified as “RAW” has been heated above 115° F during the course of its creation. Further, the entire blend of raw materials that form the contents of every VIT∆MIN CODE product have been minimally and gently processed and have not been subjected to the extreme heat required by many common manufacturing processes, including tableting. Untreated simply describes the lack of any kind of chemical processing or chemical treatments, and Unadulterated means there is nothing else added to the product (such as binders or fillers) besides the whole food ingredients listed on the label. The drying process is extraordinarily rapid, yet gentle; having been carefully designed so that the core temperatures of the raw ingredients remain below 115° F (In most cases the ingredient’s temperature never rises above 70° F) during the intensely fast drying process. The water surrounding the nutrient is evaporated in a fraction of a second, but the ingredient remains cool so the live enzymes remain intact. Many Raw foodists use a dehydrator to remove water from a raw food so that it can be stored. This process, not benefiting from the technology involved in manufacturing the VIT∆MIN CODE, is slower but still gentle.
Great, thanks for clarifying that Dimond!
