Hi, I just found out I have a weak heart valve! I don't know how I got it because I exercise for about 30 minutes four times a week and I eat a really healthy raw diet! I'm not over weight, my weight is around 130lbs and I"m around 5'5 and I can wear most of the time smalls in clothes! I eat alot of fruits and vegetables! I eat some raw fats, like 1-3 avocados a week, 1 tbsp flaxseed oil daily. Thats about it when it comes to fats because I have a tough time digesting nuts & seeds (even if they have been soaked, made into a raw nut butter or blended in my smoothies!)
Is there something that I could do to heal it and keep it from getting worse! I'm seeing a natural doctor about it and he ordered me Cardio Plus. I'm just wanting to make sure I'm not causing the problem!
Is there anyone else that's had this problem?
Thanks have a fruitful day!

Sometimes things can be caused by a Virus. I believe RAW can Heal, I believe GOD can Heal. So Declare your Body "HEALED" Every Day. I talk to My Body and tell it what to do. I tell it what to eat, what to wear and what to say. So that is why I talk to it and tell it "Body Be Whole".

Unlike the previous post I don’t believe God has or will heal anyone. I also don’t believe you can talk your body out of having a weak heart valve. Unless Spicyfull, has a magical way of doing it, in which case not only would it be vital for you but the countless number of people that die from cancer, aids, and various other illness’ each year...

Raw food could help but it could also be a mutation that has always been in your DNA and was bound to reveal itself. I would say work with you doctor closely. Let him know about your views on diet and prescription medication (if you have a problem with them). Get a second opinion from a doctor that shares or understands your view on diet and medicine. Do your research as well don’t just believe everything the doctors tell you. This might be something that needs to be monitored with a doctor’s assistance. For me personally I don’t really like most doctors’ methods of medicine. It’s just one prescription after another but when it comes to something like your heart I think you’ve got to have an open mind and try to attack the problem from as many angles as possible.

I sincerely wish you the best.

Hmmm. Wondering what exactly a 'weak heart valve' is...Stenosis? Prolapsed?
You would have to actually read the report...However, all of it can be caused by things that are completely out of your control.
Did you ever take Phen/Fen?
I would follow up with a cardiologist and I would ask for copies of all my reports. I would also ask if I could have been born with this condition and have lived with it all my life without knowing.
I am wondering how the Doc found it...Routine or were you having problems?

Good questions Myca.

Melindaxl I have a prolapsed mitral valve. This means that each time my heart beats the valve does not shut off properly but goes a bit past shut off, then opens again.

Apparently there are no health implications for me because of it. They used to tell me to take antibiotics when I had dental work done but that is apparrently not necessary anymore.

So it may be as innocuous as that. You need to ask your doctor the questions, to figure out what you need to do.

Thanks everyone for your help! I'm going to work with my natural doctor and see what he can do and I'm going to go and see a heart doctor and make sure I'm not causing it, to double check for safety and for reports!
Snoops mine is like yours, its just my right heart valve doesn't shut all the way and it makes my heart work harder since it's not shutting all the way, but instead staying partly open--it's weak! I"m sorry that's the best way I can explain it!
No I haven't took Phen/Fen
I'm against medications too! That's why I want to see if my natural doctor can help me with that part!
Well thanks again everyone with your help!

I was born with a malformed valve as well; it does not open and shut "tightly" but "flaps" as the blood goes in and out. This caused an irregular heartbeat and fainting spells during my high school years when I was active in sports. I was on medication for 16 months to regulate my heartbeat, but went off because of the side effects. My cardiologist suggested another type of medication, however I chose to refrain from drugs, so she suggested that I eliminate things that affected my BP, such as anything containing caffiene, any medications for cough/cold that contain codeine, etc, and take a supplement, such as CoQ10 (which I am not great about). Fortunately this helped a great deal, and I have not had a fainting spell for over 10 years.
Naturally, each body is different, and each person's case is different, but the elimination of caffiene helped a lot. I still exercise normally (jogging, power walking, kickboxing) and get an EKG once per year as a precaution.

Thanks Boocake, for that information! I stay away from caffiene too! It's always made me feel more tired and weak! So I've never enjoyed it anyway! So I guess that's a good thing I didn't! I don't take cold meds either because they make me too weak and sleepy! If I get a cold I just get me some natural cough drops!
My natural doctor that I'm seeing has me taking Cardio Plus Supplement, it's suppose to strengthen my heart! My doctor has this problem too, he's had it for years and is still doing great just taking the cardio plus! He's never had any problems since!
So I think I'm going to take the cardio plus and maybe the CoQ10 too! He told me that the CoQ10 is good too, it's just it don't strengthen the heart back up like the Cardio Plus! Anyway I just wanted to let you know about the Cardio Plus, so if you need another option you can check the Cardio Plus out!!
Thanks again and have a great day!

I'm not sure if you are into this but ever heard of the secret or the power of positive thinking, quantum physics all the same. I'm a Theta healer so what we do is visualize the damaged part healing and been healed. I know a lot of you will think I'm crazy but I've seen to many healings to question this anymore. Everyday take 5 minutes to just sit and visualize your valve repairing itself. See it completely healed. Do that for a few weeks I'm sure you will be surprised at the results. Vitamin C is great for your valves.

Thanks Patch for your info! I've heard of it before and actually I do believe in it because a positive mind changes everything and what you believe in normally comes true! See I just got done reading the book: The Gabriel Method and he talks about that! So I don't think your crazy! Thanks again and have a great day!
