I'm not asking for the recipe, just if it's in the book. Does she have a recipe for cheesecake? And if so, has anyone tried it?

She sure does and it's deeelicious! It's a blueberry cheesecake but sometimes I use strawberries instead or a berry mix of the both of them!

Well, we do have a recipe on this site for one that you can try while you wait. I made this one too (well, a variation of it) and it was really good also: http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1909&highlight=cheesecake

Rockinlocks, well, I made this cheesecake tonight and I can already tell it's gonna be a hit with my dd and I!
It's in the freezer now and I really want to try a piece, but it is almost midnight and I don't want to eat too late.
But the lickings from the bowl was awesome!
Thanks for getting me that recipe! I can't wait for my non raw friends to try it! They will flip, I hope ;)

My husband and I went tonight and picked up my food processor! I LOVE IT! It makes making all these wonderful recipes so much easier!
Now, I need to lay off making new recipes and go simple for the rest of the week!
I never knew what I was missing without a food processor!
Even my husband thought it made my job easier, so he was glad that we picked it up tonight.
Thanks to all of you that gave recommendations! It really helped me pick one.

LOL! You two are hilarious! I did not think to put what brand I got! :)
I got a 14 cup Hamilton Beach and you know what?! It made the cheesecake and date nut torte right up. Never could have made two things in one night with my blender.
Oh and I did wait until this morning to try the cheesecake. I got up when my dh did and took it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge and waited til I got up for good this morning.
I sliced a very small slice, because I felt like I was cheating :D I took a bite and oh my it is heavenly. Now I really can't wait to try Alissa's, I am sure it is even more heavenly!
I woke my dd up to try a piece and she wanted 4 bites of it! So, with us two it's a hit. My mom who is on the SAD will come over later and try a slice and dh will try some tonight and my friend who is trying to get back to eating better will be here today and she will try some.
So, I've got lots of testers!

I just got a GE food processor last week from Walmart for $40, as that's all my budget allows right now ( I still want to get a spirooli for spaghetti using zukes). But I, too, don't know how I got along without a food processor before now. I still use my MiniMax one I got years ago to chop up nuts and it does a great job on small batches and is quick to clean up. Can't wait to try the chessecake, thanks for the link!
