ok, i had some amazing food in san fran last week, but my favorite raw food resturant served cooked quinoa.... i am confused... i ate the mess out of it before i learned it was not raw.... can you soak quinoa and eat it? does it have to be steamed? i was told that it does in fact have to be....
i'm off to do some reading, but i'm also counting on you all....

Quinoa does NOT have to be cooked. Soak it no more than 6 hours and let it sprout. Doesn't take long. It's sweet and chewy.

This is my favorite, "Sprouted Quinoa Salad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=487VK0YMWvA)" on YouTube. I've made this salad several times.
I was surprised to see 5# bags of organic quinoa at our Costco. I snapped one up. It sprouts so easily! *Ü*
