Ok! I am needing help on which food processor to get. I know that this has been talked about and talked about, but I figure you all would know the answer to this!
Which is the best? I am looking at Cuisinart, but what do you suggest?
Also how many cups would be best to get?

Thanks
Pam

Pam,

I LOVE my cuisinart! I was so blessed - my stepmom gave me mine!!!! It is wonderful and very easy to use!

Hamiltom Beach 11 cup. I have had the expensive ones before and think that the HB is just as good and very easy to use at $50.00. I know that if mine gives out years down the line I will go get another one. :)

Futterfly, you've never had any trouble with the HB motor bogging down when you make let's say the date nut torte?! :)
11 cups?! That's a good size!

I have two processors ... one small Cuisinart Little Pro for when I'm doing very small amounts. It does a great job.

and a 10-11 cup GE 4-speed that I bought at Walmart for around $40 I think. It works just fine. Handles making the date nut torte and almond butter just fine!

Well, dh just called me from work and I had sent the rest of the date nut torte with him to work. I'm still in that mode of thinking, if it tastes really good and sweet, that it must be bad for me :)
Well, he ate it for breakfast and loved it! He want me to make a double or triple batch and put it on a cookie sheet and cut it into bars and have it as his health bar!!
I told him I can't do that w/o a food processor and he said well where and how much?!
So, were going shopping for a processor tonight! I am so thrilled!
Keep the suggestions coming and I'll look at them all when I'm shopping!!
Oh, doing the happy dance!! Oh wow! I must get a life! I'm doing the happy dance over a food processor! :D

I have two cuisinarts. One small and one large. The large one, I use most often. It sits out on my counter. The small one, I store up on a high shelf, and use it occasionally.

I love them both.
