I just got my Pickle, Sauerkraut and KimChee Maker today, so tomorrow I will be making sauerkraut. I have lots of cuc plants in my garden and will be making lovely dill and garlic pickles soon too.....I love the joys that preparing food brings.

I make sauer kraut in any old ceramic or glass container!

use something that you can fit a saucer into, poise a mason jar on top of the saucer to weight down, and cover with a kitchen cloth.
